Level 1
Course information
Level 1 course is an ideal starting point for those who want to learn and discover the tea world with their personal pleasure and curiosity, or those embarking on a career in the tea industry. You’ll find yourself feeling much more confident when tasting tea, boosting your personal knowledge about tea, various types, aromas and flavors.
What will I learn:
* Discover tea and its origins
* Main tea producing countries
* The main types and styles of tea
* Describe the basic flavors in teas
* How to prepare your tea
* How to store and serve tea leaves
* World tea culture
* Reason to drink tea
Entry requirements:
No prior tea knowledge is required, just explore the tea world and enjoy the tea with MOT!

Saturdays course: 2022/3/6
This course is split over four consecutive Saturdays, 1.30pm-4.30pm.
Course Fees:
£150
The course fee includes your workbook (provided at the start of the course), tea samples and the tuition.
Level 2
Course information
The Level 2 course is the perfect tea course for beginners seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the Level 1. You’ll gain enviable knowledge of the principal and regionally main tea varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and how to produce. Also learn the process of tea tasting and the knowledge of foods pairing.
What will I learn:
* Tea terroir
* Main tea varieties
* Tea making
* Process of tea tasting (including tasting condition and tasting set)
* Mechanism of olfaction and retro-nasal olfaction
* Aromas of tea
* Tea service
* Tea pairing with foods
Entry requirements:
This course is ideal for complete beginners or those with a little knowledge of tea. If you are completely new to the world of tea or would like to learn complete knowledge of tea, we will suggest that you may start from the Level 1.
